JUMBO GIANT SAUSAGES by Julian Hilton
From the author of Bradley and the Dinosaur (over 2500 copies sold or downloaded), and Bradley and the Magic Carpet (winner of Reader’s Favourite 5-star and Purple Dragonfly awards), stories that have delighted children around the world, comes an entirely NEW ADVENTURE.
Bradley is a nice and kind soul of course, but this story is not about him. This is a whole other new adventure.
Who doesn't love sausages?
Well, these sausages are rogues (not a bit like Bradley at all) and they have no intention of staying in the pan! What will happen? There's going to be a mess for sure.
Dare you find out what happens to naughty sausages when they go on the run??
All six sausages have numbers, so great fun for young children who are getting into counting, but will surely raise smiles from older children who are reading themselves. For those who will love a bit of naughtiness, but know you are never going to get away with it!
You know.. it's been a dream come true for me this year, and quite a lot of work too! For those of you who read this blog, you may recall I wrote this story back in October 2018.
From the time I started telling it to my two year old daughter there were laughs and giggles and actions, long before I even put pencil to paper to sketch out the first images of the story. I loved the idea of the story and I wanted to try something completely new and different, with the freedom to put Bradley's world to one side and let sausages run amok!
I wanted to bring my mind's eye to the page, so you could see it for yourself. I drew the original storyboard sketches for the last two books, and this time I really wanted to do the pictures as well.
I set myself a goal of getting everything done within the year and now the sausages can run away... but how far will they get?!
Hope you enjoy the story as much as I have enjoyed writing it, and as much as my daughter has enjoyed hearing it... I hope you can read it to your kids as I have read it to my daughter: again.. and again... and again!!
